LIU Post Leads ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll For Fifth-Straight Year

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Jul. 14, 2016) - On Thursday, the East Coast Conference released its 2015-16 Commissioner's Honor Roll, and LIU Post paced all league institutions for the fifth-consecutive season, earning 195 selections.

The Pioneers also increased their representation on the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the third-straight year. The green and gold had 169 student-athletes recognized in 2014-15 and 146 honorees in 2013-14.

To be eligible for the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25.

"What a great year for the ECC and for all of those who earned a place on the ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll," said ECC Commissioner Dr. Robert Dranoff. "We are very proud of the record-breaking academic performances of those student-athletes who participate in ECC sports. As always, the commitment to excellence in the classroom, along with service to the community, go hand-in-hand with the effort given in athletics."
