CHANDLER, Ariz. (Sept. 28, 2016) - On Wednesday, LIU Post sophomore forward/midfielder
Emily Miller (Bridgewater, N.J.) was tabbed as the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Offensive Player of the Week.
It is the second time this year that Miller has earned a nod as the NFHCA Offensive Player of the Week. She previously received the award on Sept. 14.
Miller, who was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week on Monday, led the Pioneers to a 2-0 week with decisive victories against a pair of league rivals.
She had an assist last Wednesday (Sept. 21) in a 3-1 win over Assumption, and followed that up with a two-goal, one-assist performance in a 3-0 blanking of then-No. 5 Stonehill on Saturday (Sept. 24).
Miller and her LIU Post side are back in action Thursday (Sept. 29), when they square off with Pace University at 4 p.m. at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville, N.Y.
