BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The LIU Post volleyball team picked up its 11th-consecutive victory as it downed non-conference foe Le Moyne, 3-1 (25-14, 25-16, 19-25, 25-14), on Sunday afternoon at the Pratt Recreation Center.

Junior outside hitter Rachel Londot led the way in the first set, notching six kills on 11 total attacks for a .545 attack percentage. The Pioneers (20-3) closed out the opener with back-to-back kills by freshman Lauren Kloos and junior Kristin Bendy.

The second set was more of the same as the green and gold commanded the stanza for its entirety.  With the score 17-12 in favor of LIU Post, the home squad rattled off five-straight points to pull ahead by 10. Once again, the Pioneers were able to secure the final two points of the set, this time on a Londot kill followed by a service ace by sophomore setter Kassie Akouri-Tejedor.

After dropping the third set by a score of 25-19, LIU Post battled back to an overwhelming 25-14 victory in the fourth and final set. The Pioneers led 19-14 before closing out the match on a 6-0 run highlighted by kills by Londot, Bendy, and senior outside hitter Danielle Valenza.

Londot was one of three Pioneers to finish with a double-double, as she notched 19 kills and 10 digs. Setters Giulia Genna and Akouri-Tejedor added assists/digs double-doubles with 15/14 and 22/14, respectively.
