Central Islip, N.Y. – The East Coast Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners were four LIU Post Pioneers, including Carlie Ledula (Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week), Rebbeca DeWitt (Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week), Rachel Londot (Women's Volleyball Player of the Week), and Talya Williams (Women's Runner of the Week).

Additionally, Hillevi Eklow (women's soccer) and Kassie Akouri-Tejedor (women's volleyball) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls for their respective sports.

Charlie Ledula (Jr.) – Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Ledula tallied four goals in two matches last week as the men's soccer team posted a 2-0 record last week. The London, England native slotted the game-winning goal and tallied his first hat trick of the season in LIU Post's 3-1 non-conference victory over Jefferson University on Thursday before banging home his 10th goal of the season in a crucial 4-3 overtime win over ECC opponent UDC on Saturday. Now with a team-leading 10 goals in 12 games this season, Ledula ranks third in the conference in goals and points (21).

Rebecca DeWitt (Fr.) – Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

DeWitt collected five points in two games as the women's soccer team posted a 2-0 record last week. In a 4-0 win over ECC opponent Queens College on Wednesday, the Melville, N.Y. native contributed an assist in the game's final goal, and on Saturday she scored twice – her first two career goals – including the game-winner in a 4-0 win over Caldwell College.

Rachel Londot (Jr.) – Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

The outside hitter picks up her fourth Player of the Week accolade, her second-consecutive, after matching a season-high 19 kills in a 3-1 win over Le Moyne on Sunday afternoon in what was the highlight of a week that saw her rack up 41 kills through three matches (SJC went 4-0). The junior collected game-high totals in kills against Bridgeport (14) and Le Moyne, where she collected 10 digs in the win. London is currently seventh in the nation in service aces (44) and is top-20 in aces-per-set (.54). Additionally, Londot is currently second in the ECC in hitting percentage with a .324 mark.

Talya Williams (Sr.) – Women's Runner of the Week

For the fifth time this season, Williams was named Women's Runner of the week, this time following a third-place finish at the Metropolitan Championship at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY on Friday. The Schenectady, NY native finished third and posted the best Division II time (18:34.9) and was beaten in Division I/ Division II results only by a pair of runners from Division I's Iona and Manhattan College. Additionally, Williams crossed the finish line three minutes before the next non-division I runner.

Hillevi Eklow (Jr.) – Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll

Eklow receives her first Weekly Honor Roll selection since being named Defensive Player of the Week back in week one after leading the 12th-ranked Pioneers to a 2-0 week. The Väröbacka, Sweden native tallied five saves and two shutouts en route to a pair of 4-0 road victories. Eklow is currently second in the conference in save percentage (.857) and goals-against average (.61).

Kassie Akouri-Tejedor (So.) Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll

Akourt-Tejedor totaled 68 assists in the two-setter rotation for the Pioneers, eclipsing the 20-assist mark in each of LIU Post's three wins on the week. The sophomore finished off the week with a double-double as she tossed up 22 assists and scooped up 14 digs. The sophomore setter is top-ten in the conference in assists (394) and assists-per-set (4.75).
