Five Women's Soccer Players Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams

Kansas City, MO| Five members of the LIU Post men's soccer team appeared on the United Soccer Coaches' All-East Region Teams, where were revealed on Wednesday.
 
LIU Post placed three members on the All-East Region First-Team, the most in the ECC.

Eklow, who was named ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, has played every minute in net during the Pioneers' 17-3-1 season. She made 80 saves in net to compile a conference second-best .851 save percentage and 0.66 goals against average. Her numbers were among the best in the country as well, ranking 30th in goals against average.

Breihof, the ECC Defender of the Year, is the anchor of the league's stingiest defense. With Breihof locking down the opponents' top scorer, the Pioneers have allowed just 14 goals on the season. In addition to her defensive prowess, Breihof ranks fourth in the conference with six assists on the season.

Clark, who was named to CoSIDA Academic All-District First-Team, earns her first All-East Region recognition after being named to the ECC All-Conference Second-Team earlier this year. Clark, is currently tied for second on the team in goals (9) and fourth points (19).

Forwards Julia Duffy and Andrea Huntziner were also amongst the winners, earning All-Region Second-Team honors.
 
Duffy, the ECC All-Conference First-Team selection, led the team in goals (10) and was tied for 23 points on the year. The sophomore forward contributed with three assists and registered 68 shots on the year.
 
Huntzinger, who was named to the All-ECC Second Team, contributed to LIU Post's well-balanced offense netting nine goals on the year. The forward was second on the team in assists and was tied with the lead in points (23).
