Brookville, NY| Sophomore midfielder Gabrielle Clark of the LIU Post women's soccer team was named to the Academic All-District First-Team on Thursday, November 9 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

 Clarke represents one of the three ECC student-athletes name to the all-district team from district one, which encompasses the Central Atlantic, East Coast and Northeast 10 conferences.

 A political science major, Clark, who was named the ECC All-Conference Second-Team, is currently second on the team in goals (9) and points (19).

 The fourth-seeded LIU Post enters the 2017 NCAA Women's Soccer Super Region First Round with a 15-3-1 record, and they will take on the Franklin Pierce Ravens on Friday November 10 at 2 P.M.  For more information about the 2017 NCAA Women's Soccer Super Region click here.
