Rob Andreoli (North Wantagh, N.Y.) was tabbed as the East Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
Andreoli, who also drove in a team-leading nine RBIs and stole five bases, had the Pioneers' first five-hit game since 2009 in a 10-2 victory over Queens last Monday (Apr. 17).
He also lined the game-tying two-run single against Bridgeport on Wednesday (Apr. 19) and went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBIs in a 9-4 win versus Southern Connecticut on Saturday (Apr. 21).
Andreoli currently ranks in the Top-5 in the ECC in eight statistical categories. He leads all outfielders in the league in batting average (.366), hits (53), doubles (12), stolen bases (16) and total bases (77).
Andreoli and the Pioneers return to action Friday (Apr. 28), when they travel to Dobbs Ferry to square off with ECC rival Mercy College. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
