CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - For the fourth time in as many weeks, senior Talya Williams (Schenectady, N.Y.) of the LIU Post women's cross country team garnered East Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors, as announced on Monday.

For the fourth-straight week, Williams was the first-place finisher as she crossed the finish line with a personal best record of 17:26.9 at the LIU Post Invitational. She blew the field out of the water as the second-best 5k time was nearly 2:20 after her at 19:46.5.

Williams and the Pioneers return to action on Friday, Oct. 13 for the Metropolitan Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx.
