GRAND LAKE, Colo. – After ranking sixth in the Nike/US Lacrosse poll and earning the top spot in the East Coast Conference preseason poll, the LIU Post women's lacrosse team earned a top-five ranking in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association rankings as announced Jan. 29.
The Pioneers enter the 2018 season with the number five ranking in the preseason poll, the third best ranking in the north region behind top-ranked Adelphi University and fourth-ranked Le Moyne College. Second-ranked Florida Southern College and third-ranked Lindenwood University rounded out the top-five in the national ranking.
The Pioneers begin the season on Saturday, Feb. 24 when they host Southern New Hampshire University inside Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium at 11:00 a.m.
