FARMINGDALE N.Y. – Freshman Margaret McKeever competed at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championship hosted by Adelphi University at Bethpage State Park Saturday.
 
She clocked in at 25:04.40 seconds in the 6K to finish 68^th out of 184 runners.

The championship capped off a strong fall for McKeever; she was named Second-Team All-East Coast Conference after posting a time of 20:06.8 seconds to finish 12th in the 5K at the ECC Championship at the Matt St. James Cross Country Trails in Rochester, New York on Nov. 3.
