Women's Soccer Enters Division II Tournament as No. 5 Seed

FULL DIVISION II TOURNAMENT BRACKET

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –
The NCAA revealed the 48-team bracket for the Division II women's soccer championship Monday, with the LIU Post Pioneers receiving the No. 5 seed in the East Region.
 
LIU Post earned an at-large bid into the national championship after compiling a 13-3-3 this season. The Pioneers suffered an emotional 2-1 setback to the University of Bridgeport in the East Coast Conference after posting a 14-match unbeaten streak from Sept. 20-Oct. 30.
 
Franklin Pierce University earned the No. 1 overall seed in the East Region and the University of Bridgeport garnered the No. 2 seed, serving as the two host sites for the opening two rounds.
 
The Pioneers open the first round of the tournament against No. 4 seed Southern New Hampshire University at Franklin Pierce. Game time and a full preview of the matchup will be available on www.liupostpioneers.com this week.
