STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The LIU Post men's & women's indoor track & field team continued their seasons Friday at the Wagner College Shootout inside the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
 
LIU Post's women had another strong showing highlighted by sophomore Kayra Theodore finishing first in the high jump after clearing 1.50 meters, freshman Margaret McKeever finishing second in the 1000 meters in 3:12.82 seconds and junior Alexandria Okon finishing second in the 600 meters with a time of 1:38.93 seconds. The team of sophomore Nicolette Agostinacchio, sophomore Nataly Ramirez, McKeever and Okon posted a time of 4:08.88 seconds to finish first in the 4x400-meter relay.
 
Sophomore Kelly Holownia took second in the triple jump after clearing a mark of 10.62 meters and sophomore Kaitlyn Klein finished second in the shot put after hitting a mark of 11.68 meters. Klein also finished third in the weight throw after a throw of 13.38 meters.
 
The Pioneer men also had several strong performances. Sophomore DeAndre Smith took second in the high jump after a 1.95 meter leap and the team of sophomore Michael Krebs, Harding, sophomore Troy Benson and junior Jeffrey Reyes clocked in at 3:40.30 seconds in the sprint medley relay to finish second.
 
Reyes also had an impressive showing in the mile, posting a time of 4:37.75 seconds in the mile to finish third.
