BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Despite suffering its first loss of the season to No. 4/5 Pace University on March 3, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team remained in the top-12 in both national polls as announced Monday.
The Pioneers slipped just two spots in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) to No. 12 while remaining steady at No. 12 in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine poll as well.
Senior
Dylan Harned scored three goals against the Setters, but it was not enough to help elevate the Pioneers in their first of three straight road contests against nationally ranked opponents, as LIU Post fell 12-7.
The Green and Gold return to action on Saturday, March 10 when the team battles No. 1/1 Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.
