SPARKILL, N.Y. – It was another dominating performance in East Coast Conference action as the LIU Post women's lacrosse team took down St. Thomas Aquinas 18-2 to move to 5-0 in league play this season.

Brianna Feldman led the Pioneers with a game-high five goals, while classmate
Trish Brisotti added four goals and an assist to lead the offensive barrage. Fellow sophomore
Jill LoManto added five assists for the Green and Gold on a day where LIU Post held a 24-8 advantage in shots on goal.
Senior
Olivia Kirk was perfect in goal, stopping all five shots on target to improve her NCAA Division II best save percentage to .586 on the year.
The Pioneers jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first 10 minutes behind two goals by sophomore
Paige Sherlock and three tallies by Brisotti. The Green and Gold shutout the Spartans during the first half, building a 15-0 lead 10 minutes into the second half before St. Thomas Aquinas got on the board. The lead proved to be more than enough for the Pioneers to coast to the victory and remain perfect in league play this season.
LIU Post returns to action on Saturday, April 14 when it hosts Mercy College in a battle of ECC unbeaten teams at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium at 11:00 a.m.
