BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Following a victory at Molloy College on April 11, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team improved to No. 12 and 14 in this week's national polls.
 
The Pioneers come in at No. 12 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association rankings and No. 14 in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine poll this week, marking the team's highest ranking since the week of March 6 when they were slated No. 12 in both polls.
 
The Green and Gold took control early against the Lions, scoring five goals in the first quarter and holding Molloy to just one tally in the second half to improve to 3-0 in East Coast Conference play. Freshman William Snelders scored a team-high three goals and senior Chris Trasacco added two strikes to lead the offensive efforts.
 
LIU Post puts its unbeaten ECC record on the line today when it hosts the University of the District of Columbia at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium at 2:00 p.m.
