BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Hundreds of student-athletes and staff members teamed up with LIU Post to participate in the 2018 Relay for Life Fundraiser Thursday, April 12 at the Pratt Recreation Center.
 
As a department, Athletics helped raise $4,000 for the event. Standing out from the pack was the LIU Post women's swimming team which helped generate over $1,700.
 
"The student body looks up to the athletes on campus as role models, so their presence was greatly appreciated," said assistant volleyball coach Stephanie Sheehan.
