WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – Senior goalkeeper Olivia Kirk repeated as the East Coast Conference women's lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Year for the third consecutive season and head coach Meghan McNamara was named Coach of the Year to lead a group of nine players named to the All-East Coast Conference squads as announced by the league office May 3.

McNamara was selected by her peers as the league's top coach for the fourth time since taking over the reins of the program in 2008 after leading the Pioneers to a perfect 8-0 mark in conference play. The Green and Gold have won 24 consecutive contests against ECC opponents dating back to 2016.

Kirk led five first-team members that also included junior Carly Spano and sophomores Brianna Feldman, Alyssa Mallery and Paige Sherlock. Junior Trish Brisotti and sophomores Kendall Purdy, Jill LoManto and Angela Deren rounded out the Pioneer honorees with second-team accolades.

The local goalkeeper product, Kirk earned her third consecutive ECC Goalkeeper of the Year honor after compiling a conference-best .530 save percentage and ranked second in goals-against average at 9.67. The same marks rank sixth and 14th nationally at the end of the regular season. Between the pipes, she recorded 12 victories throughout the regular season and tallied nine games with double-figures in saves, including a season-best 17 against Adelphi.

On the offensive end, Mallery earned her second All-ECC honor after helping to lead a Pioneer offense that ranked third in the conference in scoring this season. Individually, Mallery ranks third in the conference with 65 goals and fifth with 75 points. The 65 goals also rank 19th nationally in Division II this season. The Wantagh native scored five or more goals on six different occasions this season, including a career-best eight goals against Mercy on April 14. Feldman was also outstanding for the Pioneers offensively, securing her first All-ECC accolade. Feldman has scored in all 17 games this season, compiling 45 goals and six assist for 51 points. The Floridian set a new career-high with five goals in a victory against New Haven in her home state early in the season and matched the mark two more times throughout the year.

Sherlock rounded out the first-team offensive honorees for the Pioneers, capturing her first al-conference recognition after compiling 50 points on 44 goals and six assists. The sophomore midfielder scored in 14 of the team's 17 regular season contests, tallying a season-high four goals on six different occasions, most recently against Mercy.

On the defensive end, Spano garnered her first all-conference accolade as a first-team defender. Spano helped captain a defensive unit that ranked first in goals-against average against conference opponents in the ECC this season, holding league opponents to just 6.25 goals per game. For the year, the Mt. Sinai native corralled 27 ground balls while causing nine turnovers.

Staying on the defensive end, Purdy was recognized on the all-conference squad for the first time. Purdy recorded 13 ground balls and five caused turnovers during the regular season, while also serving a key role on the Pioneer clear efforts.

Brisotti, LoManto and Deren each garnered their first career all-conference selections as well after helping the Pioneers to a unblemished record in league play. Brisotti provided a spark on the offensive end for the Green and Gold this year with 26 goals, finding the back of the net in 14 games. The junior midfielder tallied a season-best four goals twice, including wins against St. Thomas Aquinas and Mercy.

LoManto and Deren played key roles all year behind the cage, combining for 54 assists and 21 goals. LoManto ranks third in the ECC with 31 assists this season, handing out seven helpers in a win against Southern New Hampshire in the season-opener and adding five assists against St. Thomas Aquinas. Deren added 23 assists of her own while also chipping in 12 goals. The sophomore opened the season with nine goals through the first four games, including a career-high four goals against Bentley.

The Pioneers will begin their quest for a fourth consecutive ECC Championship on Thursday, May 3 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
