WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – The 2019 East Coast Conference men's and women's lacrosse champions will be crowned on the turf at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on May 4, 2019 the conference announced this week.
 
The dual-lacrosse tournaments will be two guaranteed championship hosting opportunities for the Pioneers during the 2018-19 season, as other tournaments including men's and women's soccer, volleyball, and softball will all be hosted by the highest seed throughout its duration.
 
LIU Post has fared well in the lacrosse championship during recent history, with the women's team winning its fourth-consecutive conference title during the 2018 season it took down Mercy College 17-11 at President's Stadium on the neighboring campus of the New York Institute of Technology. The men's lacrosse team also reached the title contest before falling to the host Bears in a dramatic 11-10 overtime showdown.
