BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Long Island University Department of Athletics is proud to announce that the 2019 Athletics Golf Outing presented by the Schwarz Institute for Physical Therapy and Sports Performance will be held at Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington, N.Y. on Friday, July 12.
 
The outing will be the first unified outing and will aim to bring together staff, alumni, and other supporters of LIU athletics from both its Brooklyn and Brookville campuses to celebrate the unification into a singular Division I department beginning in 2019.
 
Harbor Links G.C. is conveniently located off Exit 37 of the Long Island Expressway on Long Island's North Shore. The facility features an expansive practice facility, links style championship golf, and a spacious indoor/outdoor ballroom.
 
The 2019 outing will provide all supporters with a day of competitive golf, three meals, and a cocktail hour reception with dinner and awards. Check in will begin at 9:00 a.m. where a bump and run breakfast will be served featuring omelet stations, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, tea, and more. Practice facilities will be available for warmup prior to an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. During the round of golf, beverages will be available on the course as well as a mid-round barbecue lunch. At the conclusion of the round of golf, an open bar featuring premium beer, wine, and spirits will be available as golfers congregate for a buffet dinner. Following the dinner, raffle prizes and golf awards will be presented to conclude the day.
