Box Score BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU Post women's tennis team wrapped up its 2018-19 season on Friday, April 12 when it hosted Adelphi University in its lone match of the spring. The Pioneers were unable to overcome the powerful Panther lineup, falling by a 7-0 final.
 
LIU Post dropped the doubles point and entered singles play trailing 1-0.
 
At No. 1 singles, senior Shanice Arthur battled back after dropping the opening set by a 6-4 decision to take set two, 7-5. Arthur was unable to complete the come-from-behind victory, however, falling 10-7 in the tiebreak set.
 
Sophomore Veronika Koudelkova took one set against Nicole Kielan at No. 2 singles for the only other game victory for the Pioneers.
