2014: Saw action in all 12 games ... second on the team with 83 tackles (38 solo, 45 assisted) ... also recorded eight tackles for loss, four pass breakups, three quarterback hurries and one sack ... recovered three fumbles on the season ... recorded a career-high 13 tackles against Merrimack (Sept. 20) ... collected five solo tackles and eight total tackles, including a season-best two tackles for loss in 44-36 victory over Pace (Oct. 4) ... made 10 tackles in team's 28-25 win against Stonehill (Oct. 11).

2013: Played in eight contests (three starts) … listed second on the team in quarterback hurries (7) … recorded 28 tackles (9 u, 19 a) … made four tackles in a 24-12 triumph versus Southern Connecticut State (Sept. 14) … collected a career-best 11 tackles, and a pair of quarterback hurries, against Assumption (Nov. 9).

2012: Started 9 games … totaled 25 tackles (12u, 13a) … added four tackles for loss, three sacks, one fumble recovery and one QB hurry … made a season-high four tackles at Bloomsburg (Sept. 22).

2011: Redshirt season.

Prior to C.W. Post: Played at Lynbrook … the Owls won the Long Island Class III title in 2010 … recorded 60 tackles with 10 sacks his senior year … named All-County his junior and senior years.

Personal: Middle child of Charles and Barbara Cheney’s three children … Charles played baseball at Suffolk … enjoys golf, rowing and archery ... plans to pursue a career either in the NFL or as a trainer … majoring in public relations.
