SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The LIU Post women's rugby team suffered  a 28-0 setback against American International College Sunday at  Ronald J. Abdow Field.

Due to the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) bylaws, the game was officially recorded as a 28-0 forfeit due to LIU Post having less than the required 15 players. The final score was 73-5.
 
Freshman Sydney Long was the lone try-scorer for LIU Post as she crossed the line with 30 seconds remaining in the match.
 
The Pioneers are now 1-2 on the season.
