BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The LIU Post Dance Team is excited to announce that its 2018 Audition Prep Class will be held on Saturday March 24 in the Pratt Recreation Facility.
 
The event is open to all high school sophomores, juniors and seniors as well as all current college students. You DO NOT have to be a current LIU student to participate!

The purpose of the class is to give prospective members insight to what it takes to be a Pioneer dancer, the opportunity to become familiar with the team's style and the chance to ask coach Tiffany Farrell and the team's captains questions prior to auditions. 
 
This event is NOT mandatory but highly encouraged.

Tentative Class Schedule:
8:45 – 9:00: Check In
9:00 – 9:20: Warm up
9:20 – 9:30: Water break
9:30 – 9:45: Track run
9:45 – 9:50: Water break
9:50 – 10:25: Pom Choreography
10:25 – 10:30: Water break
10:30 – 11:00: Jazz Choreography
11:00 – 12:00: Across the floor (leaps, turns, skills)
12:00 – 12:15: Water and snack break
12:15 – 12:30: Pom Choreography Review and Groups
12:30 – 12:45: Jazz Choreography Review and Groups
12:45 – 1:00: Q+A
 
What to wear: Dance shorts, Sports bra, Fitted tank top
Hair: Half up and styled
Makeup: Game day ready (eye liner, mascara, lipstick)
What to bring: Sneakers, Jazz shoes, Water bottle, Snack
Fee: $10
 
*Each participant will be entered into a drawing to win a pair of Beats headphones at the conclusion of the event.*
