WEST BABYLON, N.Y. - An impressive weekend at the Metropolitan Championships earned graduate student Stefan Adams East Coast Conference (ECC) Track Athlete of the Week for Feb. 6 as announced by the league office Tuesday. 

Adams earned the win in the 500-meter dash, crossing the line in 1:03.62 early in the meet. The fifth-year runner also set a personal-best time during the 200-meter dash, clocking a time of 22.02 seconds to finish second. 

Adams and the rest of the Pioneers return to action on Sunday, Feb. 12 when they compete at the St. Joseph's (L.I.) in Smithtown, N.Y. at 9:00 a.m.
