WOMEN'S RESULTS

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. –
Paced by a top-10 finish on both sides, the LIU Post men's and women's cross-country teams posted their best finish of the season at the New York Institute of Technology Invitational Saturday, September 15.
 
During the 8K men's race, junior Jeffrey Reyes competed for the first time this season, placing ninth overall in a time of 27:05.51. Senior John Dehler was close behind, crossing the line in a personal-best time of 27:41.58 to place 14th. Sophomores Andrew Gleave and Joseph Dorso added 27th and 33rd-place finishes and junior Justin Ortega rounded out the team scoring with a 57th-place finish.
 
On the women's side, freshman Margaret McKeever posted a personal-best time of 19:30.41 to place seventh overall, the top non-division I participant in the competition. Fellow classmate Anita Mikowski also clocked a personal-best time at 20:05.98. The Pioneers continued their strong performance when junior Nicolette Agostinacchio crossed the line 40 seconds later to place 15th and senior Kathryn Elnick added a 20th-place finish with a time of 21:10.58.
 
Senior Kaitie Schillaci and freshman Madison Dubose came in with top-25 finishes, with Dubose posting a personal-best time of 22:38.73. Junior Alexandria Okon rounded out the Green and Gold competitors, crossing the line in 23:31.83.
