NIKE/U.S. LACROSSE MAGAZINE POLL

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Following an East Coast Conference opening win against Saint Thomas Aquinas College, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team maintained its No. 5 and 6 rankings in the week six national polls.
 
The Pioneers remain ranked No. 5 in the United Sates Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll and also keep their No. 6 spot in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine rankings.
 
Junior Nick Grassa led the Pioneers with a career-high five goals and one assist during the win against the Spartans, while freshman Jake Gillis added three goals and three assists. Senior Connor Farrell continued his dominance in the faceoff circle, finishing 20-for-21 with 16 ground balls.
 
LIU Post returns to action with a big-time Long Island rivalry matchup on Wednesday, March 20 when the Green and Gold battle No. 1 Adelphi University under the lights of Motamed Field at 7:00 p.m.
