LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association named LIU Post seniors Bryan Ochs and Connor Farrell to the National Division II Team of the Week on Tuesday, April 9.
 
The duo earned a spot on the same squad for the second time this season, while Ochs earns his second overall recognition and Farrell garners his fifth selection.
 
Both Farrell and Ochs saw abbreviated performances on the week, as LIU Post took down Wilmington University (Del.) by a 23-2 margin and the University of the District of Columbia, 20-8.
 
Ochs compiled 75 minutes of action to earn two victories between the pipes. The senior netminder allowed just five goals for a 4.00 goals-against average behind 14 saves. Farrell posted another outstanding week in the faceoff circle, finishing 36-for-37 on faceoff attempts for a 97.3-percent winning percentage. Farrell added two assists and collected 33 ground balls.
 
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, April 13 when they host the New York Institute of Technology in a rematch of last season's East Coast Conference championship game. LIU Post will honor the 10-year anniversary of the 2009 National Championship throughout the day.
