IWLCA Release
 
GILBERT, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) announced its 2019 Zag Sports Division II Academic Honor Roll Wednesday and seven members of the LIU Post women's lacrosse team were featured. The Pioneers were also honored as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
 
Redshirt-senior Carly Spano along with juniors Brianna Feldman, Alyssa Mallery, Kendall Purdy, Paige Sherlock, Sara Stephens and Maddie Titus were named to the IWLCA Roll.
 
To receive the honor, student-athletes must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or greater and be a junior, senior or graduate student. To be recognized as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, teams must have a 3.0 GPA or higher for the academic year.
 
Feldman and Mallery added this latest honor to their list of postseason recognitions; both were honored as All-American and All-East Region performers by the IWLCA along with All-East Coast Conference (ECC) First Team honors.
 
Sherlock was also named to the All-East Region Second Team and the ECC All-Conference First Team while Spano and Titus was named to the ECC All-Conference Second Team.
