Jessica Julich - 2014 - LIU Post

2014: Played in 46 contests with six starts...scored 18 runs as a pinch-runner...belted a two-run home run against Bridgeport (Apr. 17)...also stole a base against Northern State (Mar. 10) and NYIT (Apr. 26).

2013: Saw action in 54 games with 32 starts ... added 10 hits including a double and a triple ... drove in three runs and scored 10 ... went 2-for-5 against So. Conn. State (March 26).

2012: Played in 31 games and made one start against Bridgeport (April 17) … recorded an RBI single at Bridgeport (April 9) … went 1-for-2 against Bridgeport (April 17).

2011: Played in 46 games and started in 42 … batted 252 with 30 hits, 12 RBI and 17 runs scored … went 3-for-4 with a  run scored against Wayne State (March 17) … hit all three of her home runs this season in a three-game span, beginning with Bridgeport (April 9) as she hit her first career grand slam … followed up with a solo shot in the first game at Queens followed by a two-run shot in the nightcap against the Knights (April 10) … combined to go 3-for-7 with an RBI and two runs scored at St. Thomas Aquinas (April 18) … went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored against Caldwell (May 1) … continued her success against the Cougars by going  2-for-3 with a run scored in the NCAA East Regional (May 14).

Prior to LIU Post: Lettered in three years of varsity softball at Kings Park… the Knights captured league championship titles in 2007, 2008, and 2009 … an All-League and All-Conference selection in 2010 … also lettered in volleyball.

Personal: Middle child of Jim and Yvonne Julich’s three children … older sister, Brittany, played softball at the University of Rhode Island … mother, Yvonne, competed in track at Cortland … favorite athlete is Derek Jeter … admires her parents … is looking to become a speech pathologist after graduation … majoring in speech pathology.
