BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU Post men's basketball team suffered a 100-58 setback against Franklin Pierce University Saturday inside the Pratt Recreation Center.
Sophomore
Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor led the Pioneers in scoring for the second-straight game as he finished with 17 points and six rebounds, which tied for the team-high. Freshman
Seth Goumba added 15 points and six rebounds while freshman
Kendell Ogilvie scored 10 points to go with six rebounds.
The Pioneers had success going inside as they matched the Ravens in points in the paint 28-28.
With 18:55 on the clock in the first half Goumba knocked down a three-pointer from an assist by Ogilvie to give LIU Post an early lead. Franklin Pierce then took the lead and despite LIU Post's best efforts, the Pioneers were not able to retake it as the Ravens enhanced the margin throughout the remainder of the game.
