BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Despite another dominant performance by sophomore
Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor that saw him finish with a game-high 34 points and a team-high 11 rebounds, the LIU Post men's basketball team fell 135-80 to the University of Bridgeport Wednesday night inside the Pratt Recreation Center.
Along with his 34 points and 11 rebounds being his seventh double-double of the season, Ortiz-Traylor went 12-of-15 from the free throw line to set career-highs in both free throws made and attempted. He also made a significant contribution on the defensive end, finishing with a career and game-high five blocks and four steals.
Redshirt senior
Neil Feminella also made an impact as he had career-highs in points and rebounds with nine and ten along with adding two assists and two steals. Freshman
Liam Kunkel also added a career-high 13 points.
As well as its 80 points being a season-high, LIU Post also had season-bests in rebounds with 40 and defensive rebounds with 30. The Pioneers' 17 assists also matched their season high.
