Ortiz-Traylor Named Rookie of the Week, Two Others Appear on Weekly Honor Roll

West Babylon, NY| The East Coast Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and amongst the winners was freshman Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor who was named Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week.
 
Additionally, sophomore forward Mikaiya Moore of the women's basketball team and Rachel Londot of the women's volleyball team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.
 
 Alonzo Ortiz-Traylor  (Fr.) – Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
 
In two games last week Ortiz-Traylor averaged, 11.5 points and 11.5 rebounds-per-game as the Pioneers posted an 0-2 record. Last Friday, the Woodside, NY native shot 45.5% from the field and finished with a team-high 13 points in a loss to USciences on the road. In Saturday's loss to Wilmington, the forward netted 10 points and grabbed 10 boards for his second collegiate double-double of his career.
 
Mikaiya Moore (So.) – Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
 
Moore averaged 24.0 points-per-game through the women's basketball team's first two games of the season last week. In an 83-74 loss to Pace on Sunday the Amityville, N.Y. native recorded a career-best in points (34) and matched a career-best in made field goals (14) and shot 73.7 percent from the floor.
 
Rachel Londot (Jr.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
 
In two matches last week, Londot put down 26 kills at a 3.71 kill-per-set pace. In a 3-1 win over Bridgeport on November 7, Londot collected a game-high 22
kills. Londot, who currently leads the team with 390 kills, is currently hitting at a .293 efficiency and is averaging 3.36 kills-per-set.
