2013: Started all 45 games ... finished fourth on the team with a .271 batting average ... was second on the team with 3 triples ... tied for second on the team with 15 RBIs ... stole 19 bases and was caught only 3 times ... had eight 2-hit games and three 3-hit games ... had 3 hits and 2 RBIs against Queens (3/23) ... stole 2 bases in one game on six different occasions.

2012: Suffered an offseason injury and received a medical redshirt for the season.

2011: Started 47 games for the Pioneers … hit .264 with 16 RBI and 15 runs scored … knocked seven doubles and two triples … went 3-for-4 against Southern New Hampshire (March 4) … had two hits and two RBI against Adelphi (March 4) … was 2-for-4 with two RBI doubles against Molloy (May 1) … hit safely in 10 of the final 12 games of the season, including a combined 4-for-6 with three runs scored in the final doubleheader of the season against Mercy (May 9).

2010: Played and started in 49 games, batting eighth as the primary second baseman for the Pioneers … was second on the team in batting, hitting at a .346 clip … totaled 21 RBI while scoring 25 runs … also finished second on the team with 134 defensive assists while fielding to a .972 percent … had a season high three hits and four RBI at Mercy (April 23).

Before LIU Post: Played three seasons for coach John Habyan, helping the team to a team to an NSCHSAA Championship in 2008, and a runner-up finish in 2007 … named NSCHSAA All-League …received the coaches award, and all-academic honors … also played for the 17U Long Island Tigers, helping them to an NABF National Championship, where he was named the MVP.

Personal: Older of Ron and Mary McKay’s two children … has a younger sister, Megan … Mary played volleyball and softball at Queens, and Ron played hockey and baseball at Queens, and also coached in the White Sox minor league system from 1988-91 … favorite athlete is Gordon Beckham … majoring in health and physical education
